I have just completed The Shoden level training this weekend. What an experience! It was fantastic. The content of the course was extremely comprehensive and the training was delivered in a most credible and professional manner.
The feedback I received from the students I practised on during the course was really encouraging, and when it was my turn to receive Reiki the students found a lot of "heat" in my upper chest. Master Yamaguchi explained that this area is associated with emotion/depression. It is interesting that I have felt pain there since my beloved sister passed away 2 months ago. I received a lot of healing over the weekend and I have left with the confidence to continue to heal myself and to heal my friends and family. I feel so GOOD and so STRONG as a result. We were also taught a most amazing Reiki technique that is like a light massage that left me feeling totally rejuvenated.
Overall it was an extremely rewarding experience for mind, body and soul thank you Dan, Rika, Amanda and Tadao Yamaguchi for opening this door in my life.

Having spent 26 years in business, busily suppressing what my body and non-logical intellect was telling me, I suppose the inevitable outcome was for me to become ill, with a range of symptoms from irritability, exhaustion, all the way through to pneumonia and constant lack of sleep. Below is a testimonial from a lady that was receiving free treatments as part of our community work, she later went on to learn Reiki with us and become a volunteer herself, along with a few others.
Before the treatment I had stiff ankles, knees, and lower back. My knees were rather bad, especially after having sat on the floor cross legged for about 15 minutes. My sciatic nerve would become stiff from the lower back down and affects my whole leg.
Since having the treatment, my nerves are more relaxed and the stiffness is bearable. My back is much better and I am able to sit on the floor for a longer duration. My knees are also better, and the swelling in my ankles is remarkably less, which used to be quite a severe problem as I used to experience pain as well.
I sincerely feel that just after three sessions of treatment there is a remarkable improvement in the stiffness and pain. I am very positive that in the long term this would help my health tremendously.
I wish Daniel all the best in his future ventures. He is doing an excellent service to the community, and may god give him all the strength and ability to continue this wonderful service.
