Gemma Newman

I have worked in medicine for over 20 years and am the Senior Partner at an NHS family medical practice. I am also an ambassador for PBHPUK and have written two wellness books.

I have a specialist interest in holistic health, plant based nutrition and lifestyle medicine. In my practice I have come to understand that body, mind and soul are not separate, and that it is only in addressing the root causes of stress and disconnection that we can truly heal, from the inside out.

I am regularly invited to teach other doctors and the general public via training programmes, podcasts and conferences about the benefits of plant-based nutrition, holistic health and of course, Jikiden Reiki. I have spoken at the European Commission in Brussels and at the Houses of Parliament on the topic of Planetary Health and enjoy providing reiki sessions and seminars in addition to my clinical and advocacy work.
