We are delighted to introduce JRUKA Regional Reijukai Days — special events held across the UK where any Jikiden Reiki practitioners can come together to receive Reiju, review course content, and deepen their practice in a warm and supportive setting.

Each Reijukai day offers students a chance to reconnect with the essence of Jikiden Reiki, meet fellow practitioners, and continue learning under the guidance of experienced Shihan and Shihankaku teachers.

🕊️  Our Vision:

A National Network of Jikiden Reiki Hubs

Our vision is to build a network of regional hubs across the UK, each offering JRUKA sponsored Regional Reijukai events per year.
When fully established, we hope to have events somwhere in the UK nearly every month, creating accessible opportunities for all practitioners to refresh their practice and receive ongoing Reiju.

Each event will be led by a JRUKA Shihan teacher member, supported by at least one other teacher. Together, they create a welcoming space for shared learning, community, and authentic Jikiden Reiki practice open to all who have learned Jikiden Reiki.

What to Expect at a JRUKA Regional Reijukai

Each Reijukai day is set by the Teacher,  but follows a standard structure to maintain the traditional Jikiden Reiki format and spirit, while giving time for travel and relaxed participation.

Typical Schedule:
🕥 10.30am – 5.00pm (approx. 6.5 hours)

Morning

  • Reiju

  • Reiki Mawashi

  • Reiki Okuri

Midday

  • Discussion, Q&A or video review

Afternoon

  • Practice sessions

  • Optional Kekko practice or further Q&A

Lunch Break: 1.00pm – 2.00pm

Events are always held in external venues (not private homes), providing comfortable space for group work and practice.

🌿 Who Can Attend

Open to All Jikiden Reiki Practitioners

 JRUKA Regional Reijukai are open to all Jikiden Reiki practitioners.

  • JRUKA Members: £25

  • Non-members: £35

If there is any uncertainty about membership, the organising teacher can confirm directly with JRUKA.
Attending these events helps support and promote Jikiden Reiki practice in the UK, while encouraging a sense of belonging and shared learning.

🪷 Attendance Card Programme

Reijukai Attendance Card

To encourage regular participation, JRUKA provides attendance cards for JRUKA Members who participate.

Each time a JRUKA member attends a Regional Reijukai or local Reijukai, the teacher can stamp or sign the card.

When a member collects 10 stamps, they can submit a copy of their filled card to JRUKA to receive a small gift, as a token of appreciation for their dedication to ongoing practice.
