Jikiden Reiki stays true to the original traditional Japanese Reiki teachings and practices. What to expect during a Reiki session
Your Reiki practitioner should begin the session with a short conversation about your current wellbeing and explain briefly what will happen during the treatment. Each session is a little different as it is tailored to individual needs.
The practitioner will place their hands gently on the appropriate areas of the body. You remain fully clothed during the session and are able to make sure you are comfortable throughout. The experience of receiving Reiki can be extremely relaxing and have a calming effect on your whole system.
Sessions typically last around sixty to ninety minutes, but this can vary, each according to your practitioner. You can discuss what to expect and ask any questions you may have before booking by contacting your chosen practitioner through the Scotland Reiki directory.
