What to expect during a Reiki session
Every Jikiden Reiki practitioner tailors each Reiki treatment to the individual, so no two treatments are the same. Your Reiki session will usually begin with a brief conversation about your wellbeing. Your practitioner will then explain what to expect during the Reiki session.
During a typical Reiki appointment, you'll remain fully clothed and relax comfortably as the practitioner gently places their hands on or just above different areas of the body. Many people find the experience deeply calming and relaxing, although everyone's experience is slightly different.
Sessions typically last about an hour, but the duration can be longer; 1.5 hours is common. If you have any questions before booking, speak to your chosen practitioner, who will be happy to discuss their treatment style and what you can expect.
